How to Fix Sales Navigator Lead Extraction Errors

If you are getting an error when trying to scrape a Sales Navigator search in Sendpilot, there are two methods to try. Start with Method 1. If that does not resolve it, move to Method 2.

Method 1: Use a Saved Search instead of a regular search

When setting up a Sales Navigator extraction in Sendpilot, you will see two options:

  1. "Sales Navigator Search"

  2. "Sales Navigator Saved Search."

If you've tried the regular search and it showed an error, switch to Saved Search.

Here is how to set it up:

Step 1: Go to Sales Navigator and run your search as normal. Before copying the URL, click "Save Search" to save it as a saved search. This changes the URL in your browser.

Sales Navigator search results page with the "Save Search" button highlighted with a red square, and the updated URL visible in the browser bar.

Step 2: Copy that URL. Go back to Sendpilot's Lead Extractor and select "Sales Navigator Saved Search" as the source.

Step 2: Select the LinkedIn account with a Premium or Sales Navigator subscription, paste the URL, and click Next. Name the extraction, set the number of leads, enable enrichment if needed, and start the extraction.

Method 2: Reconnect your LinkedIn account

If Method 1 does not work, the issue is that Sendpilot is not synced with your Sales Navigator subscription. Sendpilot cannot see that your account has an active Sales Navigator license, so it cannot scrape results.

The fix is to reconnect the account.

  1. Go to "LinkedIn Accounts" and find the account with your Sales Navigator subscription. Click "Reconnect Account."

LinkedIn Accounts page with the affected account visible and the "Reconnect Account" button highlighted with a red square.

  2. Enter your login credentials, configure your proxy settings, and click "Connect Account." Complete the two-factor authentication when prompted.

Once the account is reconnected, go back to Lead Extractor, select "Sales Navigator Saved Search," select the reconnected account, paste your search URL, and start the extraction. It will now work correctly.
