  1. Go to the tab "LinkedIn Accounts".

  2. Click "Add LinkedIn Account".

  3. Choose if you want to use Cookies or Credentials (difference between the two explained below). You can also use our chrome extension to connect via cookies.

  4. Select the location of the proxy (proxy location explained below).

  5. Click connect.

  6. If you connect via credentials you might need to approve the login request, the screen will tell you if that is the case.

Here is the difference between cookies and credentials:

Cookies is connected to your current session so if you use cookies and log out of LinkedIn on your browser, your account will get disconnected from Sendpilot as well. Whereas if you use credentials a completely separate session is created and will not be disconnected unless you manually disconnect it in Sendpilot. Using credentials can be difficult at times as LinkedIn is better at preventing this kind of session. But connecting via cookies always works. Both options are very safe as long as you use the same proxy location from where you are at as well.

Proxy location exaplanation:

Proxy location is where the servers and systems will get the session IP from. So for example, if you choose Sweden as the proxy location in Sendpilot. All connection requests, messages, voice notes, or anything else that you do in Sendpilot with your LinkedIn account will send the request from the location of where you choose the proxy. So make sure that you choose the country from where you are in so all the requests that we send to LinkedIn from Sendpilot is from the same/similar location you do it normally.
